Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to a ticket to enter the homes?
Yes. Each home on the Tour will be staffed by the builders, and you will need to show your ticket for scanning at the entry. Children 16 & under are FREE and do not need a ticket for entry.

How do I get the addresses of the homes on the Tour?
After purchasing your tickets, download the official Homes of Tomorrow Today Tour mobile app! The app contains the addresses and turn-by-turn directions to each home, as well as home features and builder information. Click here to download the app for Apple devices OR Click here to download the app for Android devices.

What if I am unable to download the app?
If you have purchased tickets but are unable to download the app, email info@hbapdx.org for assistance on receiving the addresses and directions.

Do I need to print out my ticket, or can I show it from my mobile device?
No need to print a hard copy of your ticket - we can scan it directly from your mobile device! However, printed tickets are always welcome and accepted.

Do I have to visit all of the homes in one day?
Certainly not! You may spread your tour out over the course of the weekend, Friday-Sunday. If you want to visit all the homes but don't want to do it in one day, we suggest breaking them up by area - visit the Manzanita home + westside homes (Homes 1-4) on one day, followed by the NE Portland, Happy Valley/Oregon City, and Salem homes (Homes 5-10) on the next day!

What if I can't make it to all of the homes?
Some of the homes on the tour are built by the same builder, meaning their process, technologies and methods will be consistent throughout each of their homes. If you can't make it to all 10 homes, try visiting one home per builder so you can see their work and learn about their approach to sustainable, energy efficient building.
